Conversion Process

Repair vehicle to roadworthy condition. If 10 model years or newer: rebuilt inspection by Licensed Operator. If older than 10 model years: eligible for regular title at any time (no inspection).

Agency: Oklahoma Licensed Operator (for vehicles 10 model years or newer)

$25 examination fee by licensed operator. Only vehicles 10 model years or newer need inspection. Vehicles OLDER than 10 model years need NO inspection and can get a regular (non-branded) title. Visual inspection + VIN examination.

Accepts non-repairable: No

Resale Impact

Oklahoma City and Tulsa have moderate demand. The ability to get a regular title for older vehicles is extremely valuable for resale.
